Puerto Varas overlooking the Osorno

Only 20 minutes by bus from Puerto Montt, the landscape changes completely and you are right in the sea area surrounded by volcanoes. The most famous village here is Puerto Varas which is equipped with all the services that the tourist heart desires.

Really gorgeous and actually almost too perfect is the view of the 2660 meter high volcano Osorno, which can be overcome only by persons with Eisklettererfahrung.

Although Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas was only necessary Zwischnstopps on our journey further north of Argentina, we have used well the day here and seen a lot.
