The first country that I have traveled in Southeast Asia, namely in November / December 2007, Malaysia and also on my trip around the world is this beautiful and relatively safe country to be a destination.
Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia's blend of many cultures
After the obligatory visit to the Petronas Tower, the most famous landmark of Kuala Lumpur, we made a short trip by public bus, to explore the little outlying Batu Caves, a religious site.
The capital itself is characterized by the mixture of different cultures, there are, for example, neighborhoods like Chinatown and Little India, as well as the Islamic influence is noticeable.
Once we have found ourselves in the chaotic bus station deal, we got hold of tickets to Penang to where one of the largest temples of Malaysia to visit the Ke Lok Si Temple. The colors of the buildings in combination with flowers and the incense are responsible for the exceptional atmosphere in the temple complex.
On a tour of the island, we then explored yet another nice corners of Penang
A day trip to dive took us to the island of Pulau Payar where unfortunately due to the weather conditions, the visibility was a bit poor.
Dream island with waterfall and Cable Car - Langkawi!
Probably the most beautiful island in Malaysia on the west coast is undoubtedly Pulau Langkawi! The view from the observation deck of the cable cars from is truly breathtaking.
The waterfall Telaga Tujuh is cozy erreichtbar walk and an impressive backdrop for a photo shoot!
A short taxi ride entfernd the lonely beach Tanjung Rhu lies from which you can see up to Thailand on clear days.
From the warm beach life, we went off to cooler altitudes in the Cameron Highlands, which is famous for its tea plantations for decades. In Mossy Forest has sometimes even a carnivorous plant.
The oldest rainforest in the world - Tamana Negara
First we took a several hour long boat ride from Kuala Tahan Tembeling to Kuala us to start then our 3-day jungle tour.
The este night we stayed in a cave, protected from the outside world ... animal.
The second night we slept in then Hide Bumbun Kumband, which is, however, equipped with bunk beds without mattresses.
Who would have thought that there in the rainforest really sooo much !! rains From day to day our clothes were little dry and the roads are full of mud and of course swelled the streams and therefore we had to cross it with a lot of clever and using our guides Jacky.
As part of my trip around the world I will discover another part of Malaysia, namely Borneo to observe the auditory canal there utans.
The hub – Singapur
Thank goodness then went still a little side trip to Singapore, a cosmopolitan metropolis with a lot of contrasts and strict laws, which guarantees the safety and cleanliness. Here lined up as so often happens in Asian cities a shopping center after another, but there are also areas in which things a little more comfortable
