Inflation in Argentinien

It looks like I alsob before my departure Budget must adapt .... culprit is the hohe Inflation in Argentinien. Although the government of President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner officially speaks of 10%, the real value is probably around 25% 🙁 so that we noticed already when we made our first hotel reservations that there will probably be no double rooms under 15 € per person per night.

Particularly dramatic the situation is of course for the Argentines themselves, who despite rising Inflation of course no longer verdiehnen and must try to come up with the constant increase in the cost of living rightly. Also, access to foreign currencies, especially the U.S. dollar is very limited, with the aim to promote the self-consumption in the country. So many times for the change of foreign exchange shall be paid in pesos on the black market.

Fall in the weight in our Bugdet transport costs, so that for example the bus from Buenos Aires to Iguazu almost over 100 € instead of 60 € will cost. Another problem is that we need to activate HotelManager small amounts of money now, since we if we Argentinische Pesos remain, they can not switch back to dollars.

Well, then we'll just eat a few steaks less or a few more days in Chile to spend these extra costs on my trip around the world to make amends. Anyway, I still am looking forward to Argentina, its varied landscapes and of course to my friends there!
