That starts good! London Heathrow Airport 7h in the morning, it is so far, the big day has come! Here we go, the start of my trip around the world is really nothing in the way ...... or??

Nach unzähligen Fragen des American Airlines Teams zu meiner Herkunft, Beruf, Aufenthaltsdauer in London und weiteren Reiseplänen, checke ich dann endlich ein und erhalte meine Boardingpässe auch schon den für den Weiterflug.

Auf dem Weg zum Security Check warum auch immer, fällt es mir ein, einen Blick auf den hinteren Boardingpass zu werfen und da steht doch tatsächlich: Miami – Buenos Aires…..

Moment mal, sollte ich nicht eigentlich heute nach Costa Rica fliegen??????? Wie erkläre ich das wohl meiner Mitreisenden, die auch schon auf dem Weg nach London ist? Oh mein Gott, zurück gehts zum Check-in Schalter, vor allem um auch die Etikette meines Rucksacks zu ändern, der schon mit einem Fuß in Argentinien steht….

Apparently my travel agency booked the flights on two different airlines using code sharing and this mixed up the bookings with American Airlines. Of course, the blame is always placed on others, perhaps the lady at the counter could have paid more attention 😉

Well, that's went well, at least I've noticed it and my right boarding passes in hand ..... if I tonight my backpack in San Jose again see ..... I will let you know .....
