Queenstown, the capital of fun sports
The roughly 11,000 residents of this small town on the South Island of New Zealand live scattered around the lakeside are very nice houses. The beach and the rest of Queensland is well maintained.
Although I already was in getting a picture of me above, I wanted again to peacefully enjoy the view and therefore took the gondola Skyline Gondola
The Lake Wakatipu is the third largest lake in New Zealand and boasts crystal clear colors, which change depending on the sunlight.
Nowhere else in the world where you can practice as many extreme sports such as here: paragliding, mountain biking, Bungyjumpen, speed boating or Raftig are commonplace here.
No matter whether you're making a shopping stroll through the small downtown area is packed full of outdoor shops, or if you simply just explore the numerous hiking or walking trails in the area, Queenstown has something for everyone to offer. And although you really encountered very many tourists here, somehow the place exudes a very pleasant rest.
